The Wyss Institute community is reimagining the world to take on seemingly impossible challenges that improve the lives of patients and protect our planet. Our non-profit model brings together the greatest minds from academia, industry, and the investment community to support entrepreneurial scientists in making breakthrough discoveries, de-risking their innovations, and developing transformative technologies that will change the word.

Backed by venture philanthropy, the Institute collaborates with investors, foundations, and philanthropists who share our vision of innovation and commitment to tackling Grand Challenges in Brain Health, Women’s Health Innovation, Sustainable Futures, Healthy Aging, Infectious Disease Control, and Cancer Solutions. Together, we are bridging the divide between scientific discovery and commercial impact.
